CLOSED: Register for our upcoming webinar on the recently released population data

The Uganda National Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) recently released the much-anticipated National Population Census report. This data is essential for informed decision-making across government, planning, economic development, public health, education, and many more sectors. For journalists, having a deep understanding of the census data is critical in shaping accurate public discourse and reporting. However, the complex nature of such data often requires dedicated space for discussion, analysis, and understanding among media professionals.

The Northern Uganda Media Club (NUMEC) is hosting an online conversation in the form of a webinar involving UBOS officials with support from the African Centre for Media Excellence (ACME). The webinar aims to create a collaborative platform for journalists to engage, analyze, and discuss the data released by UBOS, ensuring high-quality reporting and accurate representation of facts in the public domain.

This online session will take place on Wednesday, 30/10/2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Only limited slots are available, and they will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Fill out the form below to reserve your slot.
